Virtual Neighborhood Leadership Roundtable - December 1, from 6 to 8pm
Roundtable Theme: Confronting Poverty Through Community Partnerships
Neighborhood Affairs will host a roundtable discussion between panelists and the community focused on confronting poverty through community partnerships. The goal of the discussion is for participants to gain insight about the historical and current issues related to poverty in Leon County, how it impacts the community and what community partners are doing to address this issue. The roundtable will serve as a way to initiate open dialogue between city staff, neighborhood leaders and community partners to discuss possible resolutions to end poverty and to inspire residents to help neighbors who may be dealing with the challenges that poverty presents.
